Retired USMC F-18 fighter pilot Joe Porrazzo founded the non-profit Warrior Passion after suffering the tragic loss of his roommate and executive officer in a night combat mission over Baghdad. Porrazzo wanted to help other wounded vets find their passion while getting acclimated to civilian life. There is not much of better way for them to do so than with a little adrenaline therapy. This time the passion for the great outdoors was reignited for a group of injured service members at Torrey Pines.
