After moving seven times in six years, Army Corporal David Bixler and his family finally got to move into a permanent home. For David, who endured countless surgeries after stepping on an IED that left him with spinal injuries, shrapnel wounds, and without his legs, having a ‘normal’ life seemed impossible. But thanks to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, David was able to regain some normality in his life.
