A veteran with ALS stood at his son’s Air Force graduation after more than a year of being dependent on a wheelchair. Frankie Sanchez Sr. was diagnosed with ALS in 2016, but has been battling the effects for more than three years. Last week, Frankie Sanchez Jr. graduated from basic training. As tradition, the graduate stood at attention until his father tapped him out.
