“Due to military orders, my husband has been living in a different state for the past 4 months (with another 4 still to go) and came home earlier than planned for Christmas. Our children thought he wasn’t due back for another five days, and our oldest son had no idea that daddy would in fact be able to make it to his school Christmas party! An added bonus is that our son’s 1st grade teacher this year was actually my husband’s teacher in 3rd grade, and she hadn’t seen him since he left her classroom 23 years ago!
