“When I came home from my last deployment my parents had a surprise in store for me. With the help of some wonderful workers at the Detroit Metro Airport (wherever you are, Elizabeth; thank you) they were able to get the ok to bring my dog to the airport to meet me when we got off the plane. I’ve seen the videos before but never thought it would have been something that would have happened to me (as you can tell by the expression on my face). This was one of the best days of my life and I owe it all to the best parents a guy and his dog could have.”
