Vietnam veteran Charles Upton has been battling cancer for the last six years and he’s been able to cross some amazing things off his bucket list. He’s already taken an honor flight with other veterans but his next goal was awe-inspiring. Coming up on his seventieth birthday and given only ninety days to live by doctors, Charles celebrated his fiftieth wedding anniversary by surprising his wife with the wedding they never had. Charles says he just wanted to marry her just on last time, he explained “She is my rock, the bringer of peace, my lover, my companion, my confidant”.
