8-year-old Drake Quibodeaux who has a terminal brain tumor had a small request this Christmas that resulted in an abundance of love sent to him and his family.
Almost nine months ago Drake was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), a brain tumor that’s difficult to treat. Of all the children with DIPG a very small amount lives longer than a year beyond diagnosis. But one of the most thoughtful gifts was a visit from Sergeant Major Jerry Dodson and Corporal Devon Douglas. They brought cards and gifts from soldiers around the world. One of the most precious gifts being from a soldier who hopes it’ll help Drake.
