“My husband has been gone for about a year. He’s stationed in Hawaii and was deployed to Korea. I live in a different state because of college. The kids thought he was only coming home for Christmas after deployment but we surprised them by him showing up 2 months early. My daughter is 15 months old and only had a FaceTime and Skype relationship with her dad because he left when she was about 4 months old.”
