The Abigail, seventh grade and William, fifth grade, hadn’t seen their dad in ten months. Deployed in the Middle East, Texas Army National Guard Captain Ben Thomas was working on the multinational peacekeeping mission. The teachers at Abigail’s school were dressed for enchantment. When Cpt. Thomas surprised her, the tears flowed down both of their faces. The magic and tears continued at William’s school.
