Sgt. First Class Carol Beauford contacted Welcome Home Blog saying she wanted help to surprise her family. She had been stationed in Korea and hand’t seen her daughters and grandchildren in more than 2 years. We worked with the good folks at Blue Marlin Restaurant in Columbia, South Carolina to help make this happen.The family was invited to the restaurant on the premise that they wanted to give back to military families on the 4th of July Holiday. The family thought they were sending a greeting to their mom, when she walked in and surprised them.
