After a year away from his family, Army National Guard Staff Sergeant Steven Perez was blessed to be back home from Afghanistan. SSgt. Perez was nervous to surprise his stepdaughter Alexia, 17 and son Omariz, 5 at the Palm Beach Outlets after Alexia’s performance. Shocked to see their dad back, SSgt. Perez was full of joy when he saw the smiles on their faces and was able to hold them in his arms.
