Army Sergeant Elliot Burgos had been away from his girlfriend, Angela for 11 months serving in Kuwait. Just before the dancers took the court to preform during the first quarter break, Angela was surprised to see her soldier in a video from the troops. But when she realized that he was actually a few feet way she was completely blown away.
Elliot had been planning this surprise for three months and told Angela that he wouldn’t be returning until next week.
“There’s not many people who can surprise a loved one in front of 20,000 people, so I’m a lucky man,” Sgt. Burgos told FOX 29.
