One the hardest parts of U.S. Army Major Aicha Hull’s deployment was being separated from her family. When Maj. Hull found a wounded stray dog, named Nala, while serving in Egypt, they soon became family. Maj. Hull allowed Nala to sleep in her barracks and kept her wounds clean but they had to say goodbye to each other. Thanks to SPCA International and the Military Pet Rescue program Maj. Aicha’s family is whole again!
