Before Army National Guard Specialist Michael Novitske told his family goodbye, he knew this deployment would be far more difficult than his first. This is the first time Spc. Novitske levaes his children for at least a year. Fortunately, Spc. Novitske and his wife have their family and friends from church who’ve pledge to help them get through it.
To show they were committed to having the Novitske’s back, friends and family put it in ink with matching tattoos.
They symbol “IGY6” means “I got your six” serves as a reminder of their commitment and a way to remember the man who is sacrificing so much to serve his country.
