On a night the Stars honored war veterans, Ryan “Birdman” Parrott, former Navy SEAL and founder and president of Birds Eye View Project, escorted a service dog down to the ice by rappelling down from the top of the American Airlines Center. Once safely on the ground, Parrott presented Patty to Cary Flatt, a U.S. Army Special Forces Green who survived a gunshot wound to the head while serving in Afghanistan. With Patty to help him cope with physical and emotional trauma, Carry looks forward to adjusting to post war life with his new canine buddy.
