While serving overseas during his fourth tour, Navy Lieutenant Commander Chris Shetter nominated his wife, Amy, and their five kids to be honored during the Washington Nationals baseball game. In a video message on the jumbo-tron LCDR Shetter thanked his family for the sacrifices they made, especially to his kids for helping to care for mom after she gave birth to their youngest daughter, Amelia. Emerging from the dugout LCDR Shetter first caught the eye of his eldest son who hurried over, sharing an emotional embrace and the rest of the family along with the tears came trailing after.
We’re not crying, you’re crying.
