New Braunfels High School Freshman Aubrie Monk thought she was accepting honor on behalf of her mother’s service. Aubrie was amazed to discover that Petty Officer 1st Class Magdalena Esparza had returned from Sasebo, Japan to surprise her and share their reunion with their whole community.
