A Sailor returns home for Mother’s Day after serving on deployment in Bahrain for the last two years. When Paul Alexander received the call that his son, Aaron was finally coming back to the states, he knew it would be the greatest gift his wife could ask for.
Aaron explained that this reunion had been delayed for so while, “I’ve tried to come home a couple of times before this and then always something comes up.” But it wasn’t until he was stateside that the reality of being home actually hit him.
For both this mother and son being in each other’s arms again is a moment they’ll cherish until the next they meet again.
