Serving 17 years in the Air Force, Sergeant Matt Slaydon was on his third tour in northern Iraq investigating a roadside bomb when he was blown up -changing his life forever. The explosion threw Slaydon across the street taking off most of his left arm, damaging his face, brain and lungs. But it was the love and companionship of his Fidelco guide dog, Legend, that helped Slaydon get a second chance at living a happy life.
