Deployed overseas, Airman Brandon Phillips has missed most of his wife, Veronica’s pregnancy with their first child and won’t be back stateside until after their baby boy is born.
Whether it was ultrasounds or doctor’s appointments Veronica has done her best to make sure Brandon was involved. Even though they‘re thousands of miles apart the couple was brought together in a photo that tells the story of so many couples. Veronica’s maternity photographer, Jennifer McMahon, created this beautiful image to bridge the divide in between them, and as an honor to all the couple who make the same sacrifice.
