Nic Cederberg, the 32-year-old Oregon State Trooper and US Army veteran who was shot 12 times on Christmas night was honored by the Portland Trail Blazers at a recent home game.
Trooper Cederberg spent 48 days in the hospital following the shooting before he was able to return home in February.
Cederberg’s actions Christmas night are credited with saving lives and led to the apprehension of the suspect.
When the time comes for him to be honored during the game, all 18,915 fans rise and applaud this hometown hero.
