Navy Lt. Commander Donald Bryant came home early to surprise his wife and children during the first quarter break of the Packers-Buccaneers game. Bryant was assisted by General Martin E. Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the nation’s highest ranking military officer. The family watched a video message of Bryant wishing them them a happy holidays. Little did they know he’d be home sooner than they expected.
