My daughter is a Master at Arms in the Navy station in Italy. Having been gone for a year, we weren’t expecting her home for another 8 months. When she told me that she was granted approval for an early visit I contacted my wife’s parents on the west coast who she’s not seen for two years. I set the surprise up for dinner, including my wife, our son, my father and of course our daughter and her parents. I never knew it would turn out like this! it continues to bring happiness, joy and certainly a tear or two to our family and whomever watches it.
