When local Louisiana veterans learned two of their comrades, Army Vietnam veteran Ronald Wayne McGinnis and Airman Kenneth Allen Whalen, were to be buried the “military family” showed up in force. Specialist McGinnis who had no know family to attend his service was laid by a crowd of veterans of all ages. Airman Whalen’s brother was unable to attend but his brothers in arms were there to pay their respect.
