Marine and father of two, Terry Labar has never let anything hold him back. During the Vietnam War Terry fell 90 feet while rappelling out of a helicopter, made a full recovery and returned to his unit.
“As a Marine, duty is everything.” Terry told WTRV
Years later while serving in the Middle East a car slammed into him leaving Terry paralyzed from the waist down and derailing his military career. Terry found fulfillment in working with the next best agency for 20 years, the FBI. Refusing to let his injury defeat him, Terry has remained positive and made the best of things by competing in numerous marathons and even carrying the 1996 Olympic torch. Now, 33 years later he’s taking his first steps again.
