Marine veteran Mario Salazar was born into a family that know what it means to serve. His mother, Madelene served with the 390th Company from 1979 to 1986 and his step father Felix served his country as well. After Hurricane Maria left Puerto Rico ravaged and his family called saying that they didn’t have and water, food, or gas Corporal Salazar and his brother Jose packed up thousands of dollars of supplies and journeyed home. In the midst of all the devastation this family shared a moment of overwhelming joy and relief as they reunited with their hero.
