Marine Sergeant Robert Hughes’ family were expecting him home on April fool’s day, but they were blown away to see he returned days early. Being stationed in Okinawa, Japan for the last five years has kept Sgt. Hughes from coming home as much as he’d like. But no one has missed him as much as his little brother, Wyatt. It had been a little over two years since the two seen each other.
The family gathered at Wyatt’s school thinking that they were going to see him receive an award for student of the month. Sgt. Hughes said the look on their faces when he walked into the gym was worth well worth it!
