As a result of too many hard landings, former Army flight engineer Walter Popko was left with damage to his back and legs after the Vietnam War. With his wheelchair getting stuck in rough terrain and walking causing him pain, Popko looked into getting a new chair. The chair he inquired about was out of his budget but thanks to a donation from Firehouse Subs Popko can go anywhere even if there’s gravel, grass, snow and sand.
