Emma, 18, and her brother Max, 13, thought that their birthday gifts were lost in the mail. They had no idea that this year their gifts would be hand delivered during their birthday party as a way to honor their father, Captain Joshua McClimans and let them know that his memory will continue to live on.
“As citizens of the United States of America, we are forever indebted to the men and women of our military who so unselfishly gave their life to protect our freedoms. It is our objective through “A Soldiers Child” to communicate to the children left behind that the memory of their parent will not fade away. We want them to know that there are many Americans that are forever grateful for their parent’s sacrifice.” – A Soldier’s Child Foundation
