Watching Staff Sergeant Gonzales leave is always the hardest part for this family. But anticipating his homecoming is what kept them as well as him motivated throughout this deployment. After 9 months they get to enjoy the easiest part, loving on their soldier and sharing that love with other soldiers whose loved ones couldn’t be there.
