Captain Trevor Estes, the commander of Carrier Air Wing Three, was deployed on USS Dwight D. Eisenhower for 7 months spending 206 consecutive days at sea due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Upon arrival at his home in Virginia Beach, he was giving a warm welcome by his furry friend.
Duke, who had been in their family for two years, ran straight to Estes for a warm embrace.
