7-year-old Natalie thought she wouldn’t see her dad, Army Lieutenant Colonel Jean-Paul Plamondon, for another 3 weeks.
After being in Kuwait for nearly a year, LTC. Plamondon and his wife arranged to surprise Natalie at school. During the school’s morning assembly, Natalie was reading “Hero Dad” to her peers when her very own soldier appeared.
The most heartening part of this family coming together is that LTC. Plamondon won’t have to deploy for another two years.
