This little soldier boy is the most adorable guy around right now.
On Friday (January 6), the internet breathed a collective ‘aw’ after a video emerged in which he went to see Changing the Guard at Windsor Castle.
One of the Coldstream Guards, Lance Corporal Paul Edden, returned to have a photo taken with the boy, who we now know is four-year-old Marshall Scott.
The adorable Marshall, wearing a Queen’s Guard uniform, talks to Forces TV presenter Claire Sadler, telling her that he learned to march by copying the guards, and explaining that his hat is made of bear skin.

Sword in hand, fully suited, Marshall shows Claire how he re-enacts the Coldstream Guards’ motions. It’s the cutest.
Marshall’s mum Imogen Scott explains that her son’s fascination for the Coldstream Guards is just something “he picked up” – as they live locally. Imogen bought him the outfit as a birthday treat.
“We are overwhelmed by it all, and the kindness of everyone there, not just the soldier who came out to see him,” Imogen told ForcesTV .
“He is so happy. Literally his dreams have come true.”
Lance Corporal Edden said: “I just remember when I was younger when I wanted a picture with a soldier and seeing Marshall in a Coldstream guards uniform just made me proud of what I do and just thought I would give him a chance to have a picture for himself for his own memories.
“It wasn’t till one of the guardsmen found the video on Instagram that I was told it was his birthday, so it just made the moment even better.”
And here’s the moment Marshall met a soldier over at Windsor, who took a moment out from his formal duties to allow the youngster to salute at his side.
