Bridget Stevens’ house felt like it was freezing when she came home with her two little boys one evening. “I checked the thermostat and saw it was only 50 degrees in the house.” Stevens said.
She didn’t know what was wrong with her furnace so she texted her husband, Army National Guard Major Robert Stevens. Unfortunately, Major Stevens was preparing to deploy and couldn’t offer much help over the phone.
Bridget had no choice but to have someone come out and fix it. So she made a late night call to the business sticker that was on her cold furnace, but she didn’t expect that call to warm her heart as well as her home.
