After the mass shooting at Douglas Stoneman High School in Parkland, FL and other situations concerning the safety of students all over the nation, Ted Meckley wants to make a difference. The 20-year Army veteran told WNEM how his military experience has given Ted the skills that make him perfectly suited to protect the students in his community.
Ted, who is a father himself, has offered his time for free because he feels that students need to be protected and the those who are able to take the situation into there own hands to do something about it should.
