Mom and dad had planned the perfect gift for their 8-year-old daughter, Paloma. While she believed that her dad was still in Djibouti, Army officer Jesus Larios had made the more than 3,000-mile trip back home to Spain for his little girl’s special day. Paloma told her dad that she would rather have him than the electric scooter she thought she was receiving. Seeing dad inside of that box instantly brought tears to her eyes.
