Regina Benzing was proud to announce the students of the month but she had no idea that one of the ‘students’ would be her precious Airman. Once she got to a student with the same name as her son she knew something was up. Airman Eric Benzing kept his returned a secret and teamed up with her coworkers to create this astonishing moment. Eric had been overseas for the past six months but judging by his Regina’s reaction, he had been gone for too long. She told WCBS, “It’s good to hold my boy, I’ve been waiting a long time to put my arms around him.”
