“Two students at Loy Elementary School in Great Falls got the surprise of their lives on Friday afternoon.
Their father, U.S Air Force Major Eric Doggett, showed up unannounced in their classroom after returning from a six-month long deployment to Afghanistan. The children didn’t know that he would be returning today.
Doggett’s wife Katherine and members of the 341st Medical Support Squadron greeted Doggett as he arrived at Great Falls International Airport earlier in the day.
Then Doggett and his wife hurried off to Loy to surprise their six-year old twins, Raegan and Connor.
The class thought that KRTV was there to do a story about April being Month Of The Military Child.
Raegan and Connor were presenting their posters that Katherine helped them make when their dad walked in.
Doggett is a healthcare administrator at the base clinic, and the family will soon be transferring a base in Germany.”
