Air Force Technical Sergeant Marc Rude made this Veteran’s Day extra special for his unsuspecting kids. Arriving a day early he his while his children got ready to walk in the parade holding a sign about their hero, their dad. Before they took their turn their Dad showed up to join them in the walk.
“I feel like I’m about to cry but I also feel like I just want to jump up and down,” say his younger daughter about seeing her dad.
His oldest daughter tells KXII that she’s just really happy to see him and never expected the surprise that was in store for her.
His son shares that his daddy was gone for a long time and expresses how happy he is that he came home a day early so the can play together again. That extra day together making his dad’s reunion even more special.
His wife wanted to make his homecoming one their children would remember forever and definitely succeeded as we witness their loving, tear-filled embraces and smiles that never end.
