A little boy thought he was just throwing out the first pitch at a baseball game for his birthday, but didn’t expect to get something in return. Air Force Staff Sergeant Georgina Walton surprised her 6-year-old son, Brody at a Charleston RiverDogs game in South Carolina.
Knowing that Brody would’ve been disappointed if mom wasn’t home for his birthday, SSgt. Walton made it happen. After being deployed for 7 months in Southwest Asia, SSgt. Walton told ABC News that “He just stared at me and his eyes got big and teary. “He couldn’t say anything. He was very stunned. He didn’t say anything until he was almost in the locker rooms and I asked him, ‘Are you ok?’ and he said, ‘I’m just so excited.’”
