As a young man, Chester Gryzbowski dreamed of attending Georgia Tech to study civil engineering, and it has finally become a reality for the 104-year-old World War II veteran. Family, friends, and volunteers gathered Saturday at Chicago’s Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Center, where Gryzbowski lives, to see him become an honorary freshman at Georgia Tech. He was given a RAT Cap and T-book, which are typically given to freshman students at the university.
